The Evolution Of Data Storage (Infographic)

Its been a long journey since 1956, when a megabyte of Data Storage costs $10,000. Now pretty much everyone has several gigabytes of cloud storage space on Dropbox, Mediafire or Microsoft's new AirDrive. Shared is also giving 100 GB of space for free! Impressive.

The Evolution of Data Storage from cloud to local storage devices like hard disk, CDs, SD Card, Flash Drive has also increased. Numbers went from Bytes to Yottabytes and will continue to increase..

100GB FREE Cloud Storage Space From Shared

In a vast market of cloud storage Shared is offering something different to their users. A whooping 100 GB of fast, simple online file storage and sharing for free. Few hours back my friend told me about it, and we both are very much happy to use it. We are pretty much amazed with the robust upload speed and its dropbox like user interference.

There is already big names in this game of cloud storage like Dropbox, Google Drive, Box etc. where Shared is hoping to increase its user base by giving their users room of 100GB storage space. I don't know whether or not other top services like Dropbox will increase its storage capacity for free users but as long as cloud storage services like Mega and Shared are there we did not think of privacy and space.
